Welcome! New items posted in Latest News and Happenings feed as well as our Official Business

Since our activation in 1945, Stephen C. Ludlam Post 331 of the American Legion has been welcoming veterans from all branches of our Armed Forces. We support military personnel currently serving our country and look back on the veterans throughout our Nation’s history. We keep alive the memories of their mission and sacrifice for justice, freedom, and democracy. And we maintain the principles of the Preamble to the Constitution of The American Legion.

Returning from WWII, our founding members, pitched in to buy the decommissioned US Coast Guard Station. Built as a US Life Saving Station in 1895, today it is refurbished inside and out. It houses a museum of military artifacts and archives from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Persian Gulf, Iraq and Afghanistan Wars. Also on display are murals, pictures, and placards explaining the methods used by the first US Life Savers that protected the New Jersey maritime traffic.

The Sons of the American Legion Squadron 331 is located in Stone Harbor, NJ. Please visit our affiliates Sons of The American Legion (http://www.sal.legion.org) and The American Legion (http://www.legion.org )
